Osaka, 23 April 2025. Following the success of its previous editions, the 3rd edition of Interpets Osaka – International Fair for a Better Life with Pets is set to take place from 13 – 15 June 2025 at INTEX Osaka. This year’s show is set to welcome 285 exhibitors from seven countries and regions, eclipsing previous totals and offering a diverse range of products, services, and business opportunities. Building on the strong foundation of Interpets Asia Pacific, Japan’s largest pet industry trade show held annually in Tokyo, the Osaka edition provides an essential platform for Western Japan’s pet market. The show caters to both trade visitors and the general public, facilitating networking, business expansion, and an engaging experience for pet enthusiasts.

In April, Interpets Asia Pacific 2025 broke records, hosting 980 exhibitors and attracting more than 77,000 visitors, making it the largest edition in the show’s history. The success of the Tokyo edition underscores the booming demand for pet-related products and services, and Interpets Osaka 2025 aims to continue this momentum, bringing the latest trends and industry innovations to Western Japan.

Interpets Osaka 2025 promises an exciting and educational experience for both industry professionals and pet lovers alike. Beyond exhibitors’ booths, the show will feature a diverse range of events and activities, designed to engage and inspire attendees from all walks of life.

One of the key highlights is the Business Forum, a platform for meaningful industry dialogue, and where leading experts will share valuable insights on pet food safety, veterinary advancements, and the latest pet welfare regulations. Among the featured speakers is Ms Yukari Togami, a practicing veterinarian and researcher on animal welfare at the University of Munich, comparing animal welfare and disaster preparedness for pets in Japan and Europe.

For pet owners, the show will also host a variety of pet disaster preparedness seminars, an educational initiative equipping attendees with essential knowledge on emergency planning and the preparation of pets during crises.

The Happy Grooming Contest will also be a major draw, showcasing the exceptional skills of top-tier professional groomers from across Japan. This exciting competition will highlight the artistry and expertise required to keep pets looking their best. Children will have the chance to participate in the Junior Veterinarian Experience, where aspiring veterinarians can learn about animal care in a fun, interactive, and educational environment. Additionally, fringe programme will feature a range of interactive activities including pet-friendly workout sessions, training demonstrations, and health consultations, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for all attendees.
