Debut edition of Interpets Osaka impresses with 14,458 visitors

The innagural Interpets Osaka has wrapped up a successful three-day run at INTEX Osaka from 16 – 18 June 2023, drawing an impressive 14,458 visitors to do business with 258 exhibitors from nine different countries and regions (domestic: 229, overseas: 29). Debuting as the sister fair of the Interpets Asia Pacific established 12 years ago in Tokyo, the new Osaka fair showcased an extensive and diverse product range: from foods and living accessories to healthcare and grooming. The new addition to the calendar does not only provide a platform for the trade audience of retailers, grooming salons and suppliers to find new business in the Osaka region, but also serves as an immersive open door event for pet lovers from the general public.

Inaugural edition of Interpets Osaka is ready to open its doors

In less than one month, the fair is set to host over 250 exhibitors from across 9 countries and regions, taking place from 16 – 18 June 2023 at INTEX Osaka. Marking the first year of the leading international fair for a better life with pets in Western Japan, the show boasts strong international participation from key markets including China, France, Hong Kong, The Netherlands, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. As the pet industry continues to thrive, Interpets Osaka not only provides a platform for trade visitors to conduct business meetings, but also serves as an immersive open door event for pet lovers from the general public.

Interpets heads to Osaka for a new show in 2023

With increased pet ownership expected to put Western Japan’s pet care and services industry on a new growth path, Messe Frankfurt has made the decision to launch an Osaka edition of its popular Interpets series of trade fairs for a better life with pets. The new fair will fulfil demand for a specific show in Western Japan, and build on the success of Interpets Asia Pacific in Tokyo. The inaugural edition is set to take place from 16 – 18 June 2023 at INTEX Osaka. Featuring the customary tried and tested Interpets formula but with a regional twist, the Osaka show will showcase pet-related products and services in the fields of food, housing, interior design, fashion and accessories, IT, automobiles, tourism, leisure and health care.

You can register onsite by presenting your business card at the press room (or the registration counter) during the fair. Please note that the Press Badge will only be issued to qualified professional journalists and editors. Individuals who attend the show with a press pass, and attempt to market products or services to other visitors or exhibitors, and will be barred from attending future shows organised by Messe Frankfurt Japan as press.
